EVEN MORE GODFATHER PICS!

Cardinal Lamberto
John Paul 1
Raf Vallone played Cardinal Lamberto in the Godfather 3. After more than 30 years of silence, Michael Corleone finally confessed his sins to Lamberto, including the ordering of his brother Fredo's death. Lamberto became Pope John Paul 1. This part of the Godfather part 3 is based on the true story of Pope John Paul 1st's mysterious death after being the Pope for one month. A nun found him dead in his bed shortly after some servants gave him tea to help him sleep. In the Godfather part 3, Don Lucchesi, Arch Bishop Gilday, and other high ranking members of the Catholic Church were responsible for his death.
Archbishop Gilday
Archbishop Gilday (Donal Donnelly)
Archbishop Gilday helped swindle Michael Corleone for over 700 million dollars that Michael donated to the Vatican Bank and to the poor of Sicily. Under Vincent's orders, Gilday was shot by Al Neri in the Vatican on Easter of 1980. After killing him, Neri tossed Gilday's body off of the spiral staircase he was on, getting revenge for his deceitful and sneaky actions to screw and get the best of Michael and the Corleone family.
Andrew Hagen
Andrew Hagen (John Savage)
Andrew Hagen was the eldest son of Tom Hagen (Robert Duvall), Corleone family consigliere, and became a priest and got an assignment to the Vatican in Rome.

Al Neri (Richard Bright)
Al Neri was a loyal and cold-blooded Corleone family soldier. Neri followed his orders without questioning them. Neri killed Emilio Barzini (Richard Conte) in the Godfather 1, Michael's older brother Fredo Corleone (John Cazale) in the Godfather 2 and Archbishop Gilday (Donal Donnelly) in the Godfather 3.
