The Godfather Part 2 (1974)
The Godfather Part 2 is arguably the best sequel ever made, but I wouldn't dare to argue. It is a great sequel to the greatest movie ever. The main character is Michael (Al Pacino) in the Godfather Part 2 and he's expanding on his casino business and he's also investing his money in Cuba in the late 1950's. However, that's not the only story. The holes in the character of young Vito Corleone are filled in the Godfather Part 2. Every so often in the film, there is a flashback to the early 1920's when Vito Corleone was a poor delivery man for the Abbandando Grosseria in the Little Italy section of New York City. However, as the stories progressively go back and forth from young Vito to Michael as the film goes on, it shows how Vito began to commit petty thefts and eventually murder along with young Peter Clemenza (Bruno Kirby Jr.) and young Sal Tessio (John Aprea).
